Semua hal ini tentunya akan didukung dengan pemilihan gelas yang tepat. Bahkan ada beberapa wine yang dapat menampilkan rasa terbaiknya hanya jika mereka disajikan dalam gelas yang tepat.
Gelas wine memiliki tiga komponen utama:

Soy Bean Ice cream

Neon lights outside that reads "Guinness Book of Records" pink become one of the unique features of the store, but once opened the door it became clear that other stores from the other.

Kelezatan Soto Gondrong
Soto Gondrong???...Yup, sebenarnya sudah sering sih saya mendengar bisik-bisik tentang ke"maknyusan." Kuliner yang satu ini apalagi tempatnya pun gak jauh-jauh dari kediaman-koe. Penasaran???. Yup, tentu saja. Padahal apa sih bedanya dengan soto-soto ayam lainnya...apa sih yang membuat Soto Gondrong ini begitu terdengar istimewa banget..apanya yang gondrong ya..hehe..
Agar tidak terus dibuat penasaran maka saya dan keluarga berencana menikmati makan siang dirumah makan ini. Terletak ditempat yang agak tinggi dan berada dipojok jalan membuat rumah makan ini mudah terlihat. So, gak usah khawatir bakal kesasar deh..
Hmmm, tempat parkir terlihat penuh dengan kendaraan berplat nomor surabaya maupun beberapa kota lain di Jawa Timur. Yup, gak heran deh...tempat-tempat wisata maupun kuliner dikota-koe selalu dipadati oleh para pelancong dari luar kota yang tengah berakhir pekan... Hari sabtu dan hari Minggu merupakan saat panen bagi tempat-tempat wisata alam maupun rumah makan. Panen raya hehe...
Akhirnya kami dapat tempat parkir juga deh...bergaya arsitektural yang unik dengan memanfaatkan bambu dimana setiap sambungan antar bambu menggunakan tali yang diikat..(tanpa paku). Dan tanpa kaca maupun pembatas ruang (dinding). Sehingga terlihat menyatu banget dengan hijaunya tanaman disekitar area resto.
Duh, gak sabar deh menunggu pesanan soto Gondrong datang...dan hmmm, akhirnya kuliner tersebut terhidang dihadapan kami..soto gondrong plus es degan..sipppp...saatnya icip-icip nih. Hmmm, saya-pun merasakan sensasi yang WAOWWW..rempah-rempahnya terasa banget... ahhh...kayaknya ini yang menjadi bumbu rahasia kuliner ini...daripada puyeng mencari asal rasa tersebut saya pun larut dalam kenikmatan soto gondrong dan pas banget dengan kondisi perut yang lagi lapar. Hmm, menikmati soto hangat didaerah pegunungan...(gak kebayang deh ^_^). O,ya..soto gondrong ini dibandrol harga Rp 12.500,-/porsi. Konon katanya, para pramusaji diresto ini dulunya kudu berambut gondrong (untuk para pria). Namun, saya hanya menemui satu orang saja yang masih berambut gondrong..(mungkin yang lainnya merasa ribet kali yaaaa..harus masak soto plus menyisir rambut juga hahaha..).
Selain menu soto gondrong,diresto ini juga terdapat menu-menu lain seperti kupang lontong, bakso, lontong balap, sate ayam maupun beberapa jajanan pasar seperti nagasari, ote-ote, pisang goreng...dan..JAGUNG BAKAR bok...hehe...
Seusai menikmati makan siang, kami tak ingin terburu-buru beranjak meninggalkan area resto...duduk-duduk dihalaman resto yang luas sambil menikmati alam pegunungan dan rumah-rumah yang terlihat kecil nun jauh disana. Hmmm, sangat menyenangkan sambil menurunkan "rasa kenyang" hehe...
O,ya biaya parkir sebesar Rp 1.500,- pun sudah langsung dibayar dikasir..so, gak perlu lagi merogoh kocek untuk para tukang parkir kecuali anda ingin memberi tips kepada mereka..^_^..
Ahhh, soto gondrong...seperti itu ya rasanya...membuat-koe ketagihan dan berjanji akan datang lagi bersama keluarga.....tunggu ya..

Sate Torpedo - Berkorban Sepenuh Hati
Sate - Surya Saputra didaulat sebagai pemandu acara 'Berkorban Sepenuh Hati Bersama Bango' di Masjid Raya Pondok Indah, Jakarta Selatan. Ia mendapat pengalaman baru saat mencicip Sate torpedo.

Burger King Buka di Emporium Pluit MallMenempati lahan seluas 340m2, gerai ini beroperasi setiap hari mulai dari pukul 10 pagi hingga 10 malam. Namun untuk hari Jumat dan Sabtu, restoran ini buka hingga pukul 01.00 Wib, karena ada area outdoor yang memudahkan akses.
"Saat Emporium tutup, kami tetap punya akses masuk ke Burger King dari luar. Sehingga para konsumen masih bisa hangout tanpa memusingkan akses keluar," terang Vikram Noronha, General Manager Marketing Burger King Indonesia.
Restoran Burger King di Emporium Pluit Mall ini masih menawarkan Whopper, produk 'ikok' yang sangat terkenal. Tetap berpegang pada konsep 'Have It your Way', menu lokal telah diadaptasi untuk menyesuaikan dengan rasa lokal.
Burger King Indonesia menawarkan 'Black Pepper Whopper', yang kini menjadi menu favorit. Namun begitu, banyak menu yang disesuaikan dengan rasa lokal, termasuk 'BK Singles Black Pepper' dan 'BK Chick' n Crips'. Beberapa produk ini tersedia dalam ukuran double, yakni burger dengan dua lapisan daging di dalamnya.

Ada yang pernah makan Sushi? Tahu Sushi Gulung? Sushi gulung adalah makanan yang berasal dari Asia yang diisi oleh nasi dan seafood yang dibungkus rumput laut (nori). Sampai akhir abad kedua puluh, Sushi gulung hanya tersedia di restoran. Saat ini, sejumlah perusahaan mempersiapkan Sushi gulung untuk penjualan eceran di toko kelontong. Meskipun banyak perusahaan-perusahaan ini menggunakan mesin pembuat Sushi yang disebut pembuat robot-untuk membentuk nasi dan menambahkan bumbu pada nasi tersebut, kualitas terbaik Sushi gulung masih buatan tangan. Grilling the Steak
The secret to a juicy Steak is something people have been arguing about since the early days of backyard grills. Some people will tell you to sear the meat at high temperatures on both sides, then turn down the heat and let it finish cooking. Others will say that searing has no real effect. I've tried it both ways and don't necessarily think that high temperature fast searing does much. The real secret to a juicy Steak is to get it cooked fast and to get it off the grill the second it's done. Letting a Steak sit on a grill too long whether it's cooked through or not will dry out the meat.
Grilling: Here's what I recommend. Get your grill good and hot. The ideal temperature is one that will cook the Steak to the desired doneness in the shortest amount of time without burning the surface. Place the room temperature Steaks on the grill and close the lid. Watch closely to avoid flare-ups and turn when the sides start to turn gray and the bottom side has good grill marks on it. Flip and close the lid again. Continue to watch for flare-ups. When the sides are gray all the way through and the second side has good grill marks check for doneness.
Doneness: One of the biggest problems people have about Steaks is how to know when it's done. Some people will cook up a small piece of meat with the Steaks and use it for testing purposes. The only problem with this is that the smaller pieces will cook faster. I use what I call the stiffness test. Take the raw Steak and place it on a plate. With your spatula or fork press down on the Steak and move the spatula back and forth. Get a good feel for how the Steak moves between the top and bottom. A completely cooked (well done) Steak will have almost none of this motion.
A medium rare Steak will have a little motion but will feel stiffer. This is a skill that you have to practice with. Remember that you can always put a Steak back on the grill if it's too rare but you can't uncook a well done Steak. Err on the side of under cooked and throw it back on the grill if you need to. If you pay good attention to the way a Steak cooks you'll get better at telling when it's just perfect. (bbq.about)

Deep Rich Chocolate Ice Cream
If you are a chocolate lover, you will not be surprised to hear that chocolate Ice cream is an American favorite. This chocolate Ice cream has a deep and rich chocolate flavor because it contains both cocoa powder and semisweet chocolate. It's silky smooth texture comes from making the Ice cream with a custard base. Lovely on its own or served with vanilla or even strawberry Ice cream.
Ice creams that start with a custard are made from cream, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Each ingredient contributes to the Ice cream's smooth texture and rich flavor. The amount of cream used and its butterfat content gives Ice cream its rich and creamy taste. The next ingredient, sugar, gives the Ice cream its smoothness. The eggs are necessary for smoothness and also gives the ice cream its nice color. The best results come when the custard is made the the night before and left in the refrigerator overnight to chill sufficiently before it is churned.
It is important that the custard only fills your ice cream machine about half to two thirds full. This gives the custard enough room to expand while it freezes so you end up with an Ice cream with a light texture and no graininess. As the Ice cream is still quite soft once it has been churned in the machine, transfer it to a storage container and place it in the freezer for a few hours before serving. This also allows the flavors to mellow. Although I prefer to eat homemade Ice cream the day it is made, it can be stored for a few weeks in the freezer. It will become quite hard after being frozen for any length of time so transfer it to the refrigerator to soften for about 30 minutes before serving.

Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield were childhood friends born four days apart in Brooklyn, New York, in 1951. You could say that ice cream runs in their veins. During his senior year of high school, Ben drove an ice cream truck. After high school, he attended and dropped out of various colleges in the Northeast, eventually leaving his studies altogether to teach pottery on a working farm in New York's Adirondack region, where he also dabbled in ice cream-making.
Jerry started on a more traditional path. After graduating high school, he attended Oberlin College to study medicine. Jerry worked as an ice cream scooper in the school’s cafeteria. Upon graduating, Jerry returned to New York to work as a lab technician, while applying to medical school without success. During his lab tech days, he shared a Manhattan apartment with Ben. After moving to North Carolina for a few years, Jerry reunited with Ben in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and they decided to go into the food business together.
At first the pair thought about making bagels but decided the necessary equipment was too expensive. Instead, they settled on ice cream. They decided Burlington, Vt., was an ideal location for a scoop shop because it was a college town without an ice cream parlor. They took a $5 course on ice-cream making and in 1978 opened the first Ben & Jerry’s in a converted Burlington gas station.
Growth
The original scoop shop became a community favorite thanks to its rich ice cream and creative flavors. Ben and Jerry also made it a point to connect with the community, hosting a free film festival and giving away free scoops on the first anniversary of the store, a tradition that still continues. In 1980, the duo began making pints to sell to local grocers. In 1981, they expanded this operation.
Business increased significantly. In 1983, the company opened its first non-Vermont franchise in Maine, and signed a deal with a Boston distribution company. Signature flavors were unveiled during the 1980s – including New York Super Fudge Chunk and Cherry Garcia – and by 1987 sales were at $32 million. Goose Steak

Restoran sushi yang biasanya identik dengan tempat yang mewah, dengan harga yang selangit dipatahkan oleh Sushi Boon yang ada di pinggir Jalan Dago tepatnya di depan Level Factory Outlet. Sushi lovers juga bisa menikmati aneka fusion sushi dengan harga yang merakyat.
Eating sushi with different experience itulah slogan Sushi Boon. Saat makan di Sushi Boon, akan terasa berbeda dengan menyantap sushi di restoran khusus sushi lainnya.
Konsep warung sushi ini minimalis dan terbuka. Di sana pengunjung bisa duduk di bangku plastik sederhana, atau di meja mirip bar yang langsung berhadapan dengan koki Sushi Boon.
Beragam gambar pada menu fusion sushi atau suhsi yang telah dimodifikasi membuat tak sabar ingin segera mencicipi makanan khas Jepang ini. Beberapa menu di Sushi Boon di antaranya rolling stones, spiky the spicy, battousai roll, crabby baby, leviathan, sweetheart, sunshine, dan maguro island. Selain itu, ada juga original sushi seperti nigiri, gunkan, maki, dan donburi.
Menurut salah satu pemilik Sushi Boon, Rifki Amir Balfas (22), dari beberapa menu di atas, jenis sushi yang menjadi andalan adalah Rolling Stones. Sengaja diberi nama Rolling Stones agar lebih dingat dan sesuai dengan pasar Sushi Boon yang targetnya adalah anak muda.
"Pemilihan namanya memang anak muda banget. Biar gampang di ingat juga," katanya sambil tertawa.
Rolling stones adalah sushi yang didalamnya terdiri dari beef teriyaki dan melting mozzarella cheese. Menu ini cocok untuk yang tidak menyukai jenis suhsi seafood.
Soal harga, jangan khawatir, harga sushi di Sushi Boon ringan di kantong. Harganya berkisar dari Rp 10 ribu hingga Rp 30 ribu. Menurut Rifki, harganya memang disesuaikan dengan pasarnya yakni kalangan mahasiswa, remaja, dewasa muda. "Kita pengen konsumen senang," tandasnya.
Porsinya pun berbeda dengan kebanyakan porsi sushi lainnya yang hanya menyuguhkan 4 potong sushi. Di Sushi Boon ini, fusion sushi dibagi menjadi 8 potong. "Dulu sih kenapa 8 potong karena kita kan bisnis ber-delapan, jadi biar pas saja mencoba satu-satu," ucapnya.
Konsep outdoor Sushi Boon membuat suasana fun dan rileks lebih terasa saat menyantap aneka sushi. Jika tak ingin makan di tempat, Sushi Boon juga bisa dibungkus untuk dibawa pulang.
